Macbook Pro Lock Screen Password
A MacBook Pro can sometimes go black after waking from sleep. In some cases, the MacBook is unresponsive and seems to be stuck at the 'black screen of death', while in other cases, you may notice the MacBook is turned on because you can hear the startup chime, while the screen is black. Follow these steps to create a blank password on your Mac Launch System Preferences and go to Users & Groups Click to lock and enter your administrator password Click your username on the left and select Change Password. Feb 26, 2021 The Mac black screen issue may be caused by loose contacts between hardware, especially if you have dropped the computer or have opened your MacBook Air or MacBook Pro for any updates. You can ask a specialist to help you open the Mac and reconnect them again. The Apple Macbook Pro would turn on, but the screen would not. The screen would stay black. I could tell the computer was on because when I hit the “caps lock” key, the green light on the key would turn on and off. I fixed this the following way (this is basically resetting the Power Management Unit — PMU).

Macbook Pro Has A Lock On The Screen Mirroring
I got a mid-2011 Macbook Pro (OS X 10.7.3) and I have never set a firmware password for it, and now, out of the blue, when I boot using option I get a grey screen with a lockpad and a password field, I typed every password I can think of and none of the are correct. I have never set a firmware password, I would remember that, maybe it's a new malware? Best live audio mixer software. Tried everything to boot to a different state but it would rather boot normally to OS X or I would get that grey lock. I can boot to DVD by choosing the DVD in the Start Up disk option, but it's useless, since I need the old password to turn off or change the firmware password. It will go to a grey screen with the lock if Option key is pressed during boot, so, that's useless too..no need to say cmd-opt-o-f is useless. Is there any other way?
